2026/2027 Home Learning Timetable

Our home learning is structured in a way to develop pupil resilience, independence and learning. In year 6, the majority of home learning set will be in English and maths to support core knowledge and skills which impact positively across all other subjects.

Frequency and length of home learning tasks increases in years 7 and 8 and covers a wider range of curriculum subjects.

In the final half-term of each year at BHA, home learning tasks are primarily linked to preparation for Eisteddfod entries, developing pupil agency, creativity and problem-solving. 

Reading is an integral part of home learning, fostering a lifelong habit vital for academic success and emotional wellbeing.
